Calming Breath Meditation

Free Guided Breath Meditation to get Calm and Centered.

Purpose

The specific way of breathing that I guide you through, signals your Autonomic Nervous System that you are in a safe environment. This slows down your brainwaves, quiets your minds activity and helps you to calm down.

The recommended posture of your hands is a gesture of self-love and self-care, which prompts an increased release of the hormone Oxytocin.

The hormone Oxytocin inhibits the fear center in the brain and has an anxiety-relieving effect. It also helps stress symptoms to subside and makes you feel connected with yourself.

What to Expect

In a short introduction-video I will explain the breath and the posture of your hands.

The meditation-audio duration is 14 minutes. The music will slowly fade out and you can continue with the mindful breathing as long as it feels appropriate for you and your today’s schedule.

How to Prepare

Find a place and time-window where you will be undisturbed for at least 15 minutes.

It is recommended to use a headset, as part of the meditation uses an audio effect that is more noticeable with a headset.
